Pride leads us to make decisions
Decisions we regret
To return to then and take them back,
To make our bad choices anathema,
To right all our wrongs, who wouldn't take that chance?
But if we did, would we still be the same people we are now?
Would we have overcome diversity and misfortune, heartbreak and sorrow to arrive at this same point?
Rather than forever struggle to live an impossible and infallible life, as Sisyphus and his boulder?
Nay, it is better to take the lessons we learn and use them to better ourselves and improve upon our decision making skills.
